Are any of you Ted Dekker fans?

For those of you unfamiliar with him, he is a Christian author who writes some of the most brilliant thrillers of all time! The Circle trilogy is my personal favorite of his.
On September 1st, 2009, Mr.Dekker is releasing his newest book Green. This book serves as both the prequel AND the sequal to the Circle trilogy. If you are looking for a great read this fall, you might want to check this out.

Hi everyone!

Reformation Day is right around the corner!!!

Today, I went with my history class to Manteo to Festival Park! It was soo much fun! We got to dress up and learn how to use a pike!
I had a ball!

Hey everyone!

Tonight, I had my first weapon's class! It was soo much fun!

We learned how to use the escrima (thats the thingy in the pic). I had never heard of one before a couple of days ago.

My arms are so sore now from holding it and having to swing it so many times. I can't wait to go back!

Our new dojo just opened near our house! It is so cool! We had been barrowing a small building belonging to a church but now, we finally have a place of our own!

Last Tuesday, 58 of us went to help stretch out the mat. It was alot of work but it was an unforgettable moment.

First Day of School

Well, today was the day.

School has began and with a great force...... lol.

I had a full scedual this morning. First I had Chemistry, Spanish, and Lit. I didn't get to come home until 5 today and that was only for a short while. At 6, I had to be at our new dojo to help fix the mat. Finally, I got home at 7:40, ate dinner, cleaned up, and had to finish my Algebra assignment. Boy, am I tired.

I am so thankful God has helped me do all this. He has allowed me to be homeschooled, hang out with my friends, learn things I have always wanted to learn.

Though this school year will be crazy and at times I just want to give up, I trust that God will always be with me. Leading me.

Summer's End

Today, I recieved my first homework assignment for school.
I can not believe that summer is already ending! It seems only yesterday that I finished taking my last Final Exam.
I am very sad that my break is coming to an end; however, I am eager to see what God has planned for me in the days ahead!
This week, I have to take my learner's test and test for my karate belt. Both of which I am not looking forward to. I have to face both though and with both, I shall do the best I possibly can.

Good news, I am on page 96 of the Prince of Kainden! So far, from those I have allowed to read the first chapter, they have loved it! I was very very pleased to hear that. lol.

16th Birthday Party!

Hello everyone!

Well, I am finally sixteen! Can you believe it?

On Saturday, I had my party at North West River Park. It was so much fun!

We had a waterballon fight and we played a game called props.
